Piggyback off of Donnie's Post
D really nice list...but hey who wants a list to define whether or not one measures up..
I personally think each man should be defined by who he is...
Me..it is not hard to tell that you are a man (any man) well most of the time....
I give a man credit for looking good, smelling good, having a nice smile, looking confident, etc.
I have seen all that and shook my head at the next step..
What defines a man or a real man is what is in his heart and what is in his head...when his head and heart move parallell...when they jointly work to gether.... His actions line up with his words....I know this is a man.
Every man is not alike some or weaker in some areas than others this does not mean they are not real men it just means they have some areas to grow in.
I have met kinds of men in my life time (women too) I still have to look at the individual to say what they allow to define them....I personally like for a man to be defined by biblical terms.... If he has the heart of GOD, if the spirit of the living GOD exudes from him if he has the love of GOD in him and lets it radiate on the outside of him..TO me that is a real man...everything else in life can be worked on, worked out and achieved...Every thing is fixable and doable.
I have learned there are lots and lots of real black man that are out they're single and wanting needing real black women...I would not have ever guessed that so many were available...Once I got rid of the fairy tale of what a man was suppose to be and found the realism...I found a lot of good, real, strong, available, black men that truly could use a real good strong available black women so they could grow and be all they can be together.

Not to be johnny raincloud, but I thought that list from yesterday wreaked. My swagger is more important than the content of my character? Are you kidding me? That list was total BS. Sorry if that offends, but I was offended by that crazy arse list.
That would be why I don't like lists. Everyone is different. We can't hold each person to the same standards. We can have general guidelines, but lists are too structured and a mofo will fall short.
Going off to work on my swagger now...

where do you get that idea? you read my list and somehow deduced from it that i was not interested in a woman of character? Cool. you were offended? how could you possibly be offended? unless... unless you don't meet any of the requirements in which case i think you should be insulted..peace and love
